Ask Harrison's: Which Boots And Jeans Make The Best Fashion Pairs

“Hey, what’s the best pair of boots for…?”

“Excuse me, but where could I find…?”

“Do you know if these are good for..?”

We hear your questions all the time. And we love to answer them. We think product knowledge and the ability to try to help you with a problem, rather than just selling you a product, is what sets us apart at Harrison’s.

That’s one of the reasons you’ll find this blog telling your about new products, product features, and a lot more on a regular basis. It’s also why we’re starting this new segment - Ask Harrison’s.

And today, we’re doing even better than that. Because in our first Ask Harrison’s feature, you’re not just asking us. You’re asking a Harrison in particular. You’ll find Palmer Harrison most often in our Mauldin store, and when we were wondering who might be a perfect person to ask about pairing western boots with jeans, she was the obvious answer.

Today, Palmer’s going to share three styles of boots, paired perfectly with three pairs of jeans. Her answers and the details are specific, but they’re easily translated to multiple similar styles across several of our brands.

First up, she pairs Justin boots and Ariat jeans for a stylish look.

“These Ariat perfect rise bootcut style jeans and Justin Rein cowgirl boots go effortlessly together for the Western vibe,” she said. “The jeans are a slim fit through the thighs and hips, as they flare out seamlessly onto the stylish but rugged boots.”

Palmer next favors black jeans with scarlet boots.

“These Wrangler bespoke boot-cut jeans in black with a high-rise fit and the pointed toe of the Tecovas Annie cowgirl boots are a perfect pair,” she said. “The boot leg smoothly falls over the boot and creates an elongated silhouette that highlights the boots without looking too intentional. This pairing is overall very functional and stylish.”

Finally, she stays with dark jeans and goes a little bit fancy with a boot that features heavy embroidery.

“These dark wash Wrangler bootcut jeans with Western pocket details are an ideal match for the Ariat County Lane brown square-toe cowgirl boots,” she said. “The bootcut jeans are designed to sit neatly over the boots while still showing their shape. The Wranglers are a rodeo style while the embroidered boots are cowgirl, and they create a timeless, cool, and functional look. The perfect balance.”

So there you have it. Three boots, three pairs of jeans, three distinct and stylish options. And remember, if you need any help…just ask Harrison’s.
